2018 NFL Draft Prospect, WR out of Division II’s Limestone College joined Chris Shanafelt on the NFL Draft Bible Player Spotlight Show a day after working out for the Dallas Cowboys and turning a lot of heads recently at the University of South Carolina pro-day as he ran a 4.36 forty yard dash, 39.5 inch vertical, 10ft 10in. broad jump, 6.85 three-cone. 2018 NFL Draft Prospect, OT out of North Carolina A&T, Brandon Parker joined Chris Shanafelt on the NFL Draft Bible Player Spotlight Show on March 21, 2018 to talk about his experience at the NFL Combine, how in the world some of the bigger in-state programs (UNC, NC State) missed out on such a talent, what it was like to play with RB Tarik Cohen who was drafted by the Chicago Bears around this time a year ago, what the future of NCAT Aggies football looks like and more!

Illinois State Redbirds CB, Davontae Harris joined Chris Shanafelt on the NFL Draft Bible Player Spotlight Show not once but twice throughout the “draft season”… On December 5, 2017, Harris joined Shanafelt to talk about his journey to Illinois State, his overall experience with the Redbirds football program over the past five years, the experience of playing in the FCS National Championship Game against the Carson Wentz led North Dakota State Bison his redshirt freshman year, what it was like to play in arguably the top conference in the FCS, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the leadership qualities he brings to a team both on and off the field, who he would compare himself currently in the league and more!

Harris then joined me again, this time via Skype Video on April 12, 2018 (14 days prior to draft day) to talk about his experience getting ready for the NFL Combine and his pro-day held at Northwestern and Illinois State University. Harris was one of the fastest and strongest defensive-back at the NFL Combine as he ran a 4.43 forty yard dash and cranked out 22 reps of 225lbs on the bench press.

UPDATE: Harris was drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

2018 NFL Draft Prospect, QB out of the University of South Dakota and Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Chris Streveler joined Chris Shanafelt on the NFL Draft Bible Player Spotlight Show on January 30, 2018 to talk about his collegiate career beginning at the University of Minnesota as a versatile offensive/special teams weapon and now finishing at South Dakota playing quarterback and leading the team to a deep playoff run and being a finalist for the Walter Payton Award (FCS Heisman Trophy).

UPDATE: After a fantastic pro-day, Streveler did not get an opportunity in the National Football League but was signed by the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers and became the first rookie QB in the CFL to start an opening game since 1994.
